Landlords should know what practical steps to take to help you keep tenants safe. The checks we carry out can confirm that your rental properties meet the standard required. No one wants to be in a situation where tenants could be in danger as a result of ignoring regulations and good practice.
From 1st June 2020, private landlords in England must have the electrical installation in their rental properties checked by a qualified electrician to ensure that they are safe.

These checks must then be carried out on a five yearly basis, and you should provide a copy for your tenant and retain copies for local authority inspect when that is needed.
